<p><span style="color: #808080;"><strong><a title="President's Day" href="Washington's Birthday" target="_self">Presidents&#8217; Day</a></strong>, nestled between Lincoln&#8217;s birthday (February 12th) and Washington&#8217;s birthday (February 22nd), this federal holiday is observed on the third Monday of February and falls on <strong>Monday, February 15th</strong> this year.</span></p>

<h3><span style="color: #808080;">Have kids? Go <a title="President's Day activities for kids" href="http://holidays.kaboose.com/presidents-day/presidents-day.html" target="_self">here</a> and find some great <strong><a title="kids activities, games, crafts and historical facts" href="http://holidays.kaboose.com/presidents-day/presidents-day.html" target="_self">kids activities</a></strong>, games, crafts, and historical facts! Plan a small President&#8217;s Day party for your children and their friends and serve <strong><a title="Gourmet Cookies For Kid's Party" href="http://www.heidisheavenlycookies.com/products/Festive_Tray_Small_25-16-15.html" target="_self">gourmet cookies</a></strong> to munch on while the kiddies are making log cabins out of pretzels and white cotton-ball wigs.</span></h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3><span style="color: #808080;">Visit your nearest <strong><a title="Museum of History" href="http://www.censusfinder.com/guide_to_historical_museums.htm" target="_self">Museum of History</a></strong>.</span></h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3><span style="color: #808080;">Attend or host a patriotic event—no events going on in your area and can&#8217;t make it to Washington D.C.? Host a President&#8217;s Day party of your own! Serve foods that are inspired by <strong><a title="U.S. Presidents' favorite foods" href="http://www.foodtimeline.org/presidents.html" target="_self">U.S. Presidents&#8217; favorite foods</a></strong>. All of our Presidents were of course different in their tastes: from gourmets to medical restricted diets, some loved classic French cuisine (Jefferson, Kennedy), while others liked &#8220;down home&#8221; simple food (Adams, Johnson), and some efficiently viewed food as fuel (Lincoln, Wilson). Whatever you decide to serve, incorporating the national colors red, white and blue will transform any meal into one that is patriotic!</span></h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3><span style="color: #808080;">Make an effort to <a title="Support Our Troops" href="http://www.supportourtroops.org/" target="_self"><strong>support our troops</strong></a> and <a title="Support Our Veterans" href="http://www.pva.org/site/PageServer" target="_self"><strong>support our veterans</strong></a>. Whether that means sending letters, or monetary donations to our active troops, to visiting your veteran neighbor down the street (bring <a title="Support Our Veterans : treats" href="http://www.heidisheavenlycookies.com/products/Heavenly_Delights-11-13.html" target="_self">treats</a> and ask him/her to share some of their stories!), a little attention for all of sacrifice and service they&#8217;ve given certainly goes a long way.</span></h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3><span style="color: #808080;">Brush up on history (U.S. or otherwise) by watching a few clips on the <a title="History Channel: President Lincoln" href="http://www.history.com/content/lincoln" target="_self">History Channel</a> or stop by <a title="Barnes and Noble: History books" href="http://www.barnesandnoble.com/subjects/history/index.asp" target="_self">Barnes &amp; Noble</a> and pick up a book or documentary about something in history that intrigues you.</span></h3>
